Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Manager to join our team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying and managing AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases and Lambda functions.

This role involves assisting in the design implementation and maintenance of backup high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.

Candidates must have strong knowledge of monitoring platforms such as Data Dog Orion Nagios WhatsUp Gold etc… to monitor system performance, analyze trends and implement betterments to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.

A key responsibility of this role is implementing security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments along with administering company SaaS platforms to ensure productivity of users.

This position requires collaboration with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.

The successful candidate will provide technical guidance and support to junior cloud engineers and other team members while staying up-to-date with latest AWS services features and best practices.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures including IaaS PaaS and SaaS along with proficiency in AWS services such as EC2 S3 RDS IAM Lambda CloudFormation and CloudWatch.

Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker Kubernetes and orchestration tools such as ECS EKS is a plus.

Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation is highly preferred along with proven hands-on experience supporting Okta SSO Platform.

A strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies including TCP/IP VPN DNS and routing is essential along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.

Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

The selected candidate will be required to stay current with industry developments and advancements in cloud technology.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field and at least 5 years of experience in designing implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions is required.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.

The successful candidate will have a portfolio that showcases their expertise in designing, implementing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
