Key Role: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will play a vital role in designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust cloud architectures using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC.
  • Develop cloud-based solutions using AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Implement security measures and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), VPC security, and data protection.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to set up Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for smooth deployment workflows.
  • Conduct cloud cost analysis and optimization to drive efficiency.
  • Stay updated on AWS features and industry trends to continually innovate and improve our cloud practices.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field, with a focus on AWS technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services and features, including but not limited to EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages like Python and Bash for automation tasks.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnetting, NAT, and VPN.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD tools, and practices.
  • AWS certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
