Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team. This role involves overseeing various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, payroll, compliance, and benefits administration.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with labor laws and organizational goals.
- Lead the full recruitment cycle, encompassing job postings, interviews, hiring, and onboarding processes.
- Promote staff development, engagement, motivation, and retention strategies to support business objectives.
- Cultivate strong relationships between management and employees, addressing demands, grievances, or other issues in a fair and efficient manner.
- Maintain performance review processes and collaborate with department heads on performance improvement plans.
- Design and deliver training initiatives to enhance employee growth and development.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with applicable HR federal and state requirements.
- Compile and maintain accurate HR records and reports in accordance with audit and data privacy standards.
- Emphasize the importance of a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Thorough knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in HR or a related field.
- HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and employee engagement tools.
