Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Benefits Strategist.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in assessing client employee health and benefits programs, including plan design, vendor relationships, and cost drivers.
  • This role requires developing tailored recommendations to improve benefits offerings, enhance employee engagement, and control costs.
  • The successful candidate will analyze industry trends, emerging benefits solutions, and best practices to deliver innovative advice.
  • An opportunity exists to cross-sell products and services to current clients.
  • Possibility of participating in prospecting opportunities with new clients as part of a broader sales team.
  • Collaboration with other teams for Client RFP, Plan Renewal, and Implementation processes.
  • Responsibilities include coordinating project plans and periodic presentations for specific client groups.
  • Develop and manage benefit strategies for clients, fostering strong client relationships.
  • Benchmark survey data for client plans, summarize, and validate reviewed information.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted benefits advisor.
  • Contribute to thought leadership on employee health and benefits topics.
  • Understand negotiable elements of underwriting calculations for employee health and benefits.
  • Develop value propositions, tools, and approaches.
Requirements
  • Proven Leadership skill traits.
  • Effective Communication and Presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Domain knowledge preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience in insurance industry.
  • Post Graduate / Actuarial; Experience in Health Insurance preferred.
