Job Opportunity: Loan Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our lending division as a Loan Specialist. This role is an extension of our client team, responsible for ensuring we meet applicable Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review commercial loan documentation.
  • Translate key terms within the loan documentation into our system of record.
  • Enter loan details into the ACBS system, including borrower entities, guarantor entities, rate, repayment, accrual, collateral, etc.
  • Understand and interpret credit approval documents.
  • Interpret complex loan structures and documentation, including large syndicated transactions.
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients on all servicing-related activity for the bank's direct/bilateral/syndicated loan portfolio.
  • Monitor and perform ACBS system input for timely administration of rate options, borrowing base adjustments, reduction to revolver schedules, and facility utilization changes.
  • Work with the agent bank to balance and resolve issues within the portfolio.
  • Receive research and maintenance requests from lending officers and clients, and perform analysis and system input required.
  • Review and balance daily reconciliation reports for general ledger activity tied to loan servicing.
  • Review exception reports, determining necessary monetary and system maintenance for resolution.
  • Perform research requests and analyze loan documentation.
  • Respond to client inquiries around loan balance, rate information, loan statement questions, advance, and payment inquiries.
