Production Head

About the Role:

This is a leadership position responsible for overseeing and coordinating various production processes within an organization.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams, ensuring productivity, and implementing quality control measures.
  • A strong background in operations management, manufacturing, or a related field is required.
  • The successful candidate will be able to analyze data, identify areas of improvement, and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • In addition, the individual must be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and logistics.
  • Prior experience in lean manufacturing, process optimization, and change management is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise Manual Insertion, FG Production and Testing Line Production.
  2. Lead the management of SMT Line, PCB, and Unit Assembly line of Production.
  3. Collaborate with Planning Team to execute Daily, Weekly, and monthly material planning, achieving MPP targets.
  4. Resolve daily challenges through SIM-1, SIM-2, SIM-3, and SIM-5.
  5. Lead SIM-3 and SIM-5 alongside HODs from MFG, Test Engineering, Warehouse, Facilities, Planning, Procurement, Safety, and HR.
  6. Conduct productive Production meetings to address productivity, efficiency, and Quality concerns.
  7. Coordinate day-to-day operations across Manufacturing inter-department.
  8. Spearhead KE projects and improvement project activities in coordination with Support groups.
  9. Actively manage ECO documentation and implementation control.
  10. Review and recommend enhancements for existing inter-Department procedures.
  11. Consistently monitor and control Non-Quality costs through corrective measures with the support of SRT Tool.
  12. Take corrective actions through projects to address customer complaints.
  13. Proactively implement and maintain the SPS systems.
  14. Ensure ongoing monitoring and improvement of all production KPIs.
  15. Drive manpower planning for the plant and implement multi-skilling for the workforce.
  16. Continuously monitor and refine daily production planning based on OTDM requirements and BOL.
  17. Actively drive projects to overcome Repeated Barriers hindering the achievement of KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
