**Job Overview**

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Infrastructure Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our infrastructure operations, ensuring that they are running efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an infrastructure strategy that aligns with our organizational goals.
  • Analyze existing infrastructure systems to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Negotiate purchases of software, hardware, and other IT supplies as approved by management.
  • Manage inventory of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
  • Collaborate with senior management and peers on matters requiring acceptance of alternative approaches.
  • Oversee outsourced teams responsible for daily operations and activities.
  • Provide solutions to complex business problems requiring in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Perform live disaster recovery activities and drills periodically.
  • Maintain working knowledge of server, storage, database, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and network architecture.
  • Manage production incidents and ensure regulatory compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure management, including both on-premise datacenter and cloud infrastructure.

Key Skills:

  • Program and project management expertise.
  • Planning and executing infrastructure-related projects.
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of infrastructure components, including servers, storage, databases, operating systems, and networks.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with cloud computing.

Functional Competencies:

  • Able to perform infrastructure discovery assessments and transformation strategies.
  • Holistic understanding of all data center functions, including production operations, change control, disaster recovery, helpdesk, systems management, and facilities.
  • Experience with private and public cloud architectures, pros/cons, and migration considerations.
