As the chief academic and administrative head of a degree college, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and ensuring academic excellence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop a vision for curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and academic planning to drive student success.
  • Promote research, publications, and academic innovation while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Oversee day-to-day administration, academic schedules, admissions, and examinations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Solicit and develop talent among faculty and staff through recruitment, training, and performance management, maintaining discipline and grievance redressal systems.
  • Foster continuous improvement in academics and infrastructure by driving quality enhancement processes and implementing best practices.
  • Cultivate extracurricular, co-curricular, and skill development activities to support students' holistic growth and well-being.
  • Bilateral partnerships with industry, universities, and research organizations can enhance alumni relations and community outreach programs.

To excel in this role, you should possess a Master's Degree from a recognized university, a Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline, and minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience, including 5 years in an administrative/leadership position.
