Job Title: Business Growth Director

The role of Business Growth Director is pivotal in driving revenue growth and managing key performance metrics for the region. This individual will own critical business initiatives, including product launches, process improvements, category expansion, and vendor management.

  • Contribute to business decisions through qualitative inputs and in-depth quantitative analysis.
  • Understand design requisites and customer experience requirements to maximize business results.
  • Develop and lead a young and ambitious city team, comprising Business/Design Managers, Designers, DPs, LPs, etc.
  • Establish an ecosystem for successful design experiences for both internal teams and customers.
  • Own the quality of design closure for Livspace catalogue products and essential home improvement services for the region.
  • Drive and meet KPIs such as timely design sign-offs, snag-free designs, sales/category penetration, C-sat/happy customer experience, E-sat/happy team members.
  • Be the voice of the city and customer inside Livspace, ensuring continuous feedback to improve the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent, with an MBA being advantageous.
  • Typically 7-8 years of experience in interior fit-out business, operating roles managing revenue-generating teams or selling design products/services through designers.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent written/oral communication skills, and ability to convey business requirements effectively.
  • Structured thought process, strong analytical ability, and determination to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Leadership and people management skills, including direct team reporting.
  • Significant personal and professional drive to continuously improve design and design experience.
  • Deep understanding of interior fit-out industry processes, market trends, etc.
  • Strong leadership: Hire, retain, motivate, and look after a diverse team.
  • Tracking and training: Train/coach the team on job performance, track strengths/weaknesses, course correct, and reward accordingly.
  • Customer empathy: Appreciate customer problems and be a trustworthy/knowledgeable partner.
  • Represent Livspace as the leader in the representative region, embodying 'hungry, humble, lean' qualities.
