About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Monitoring and Reporting

The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring internal processes and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This includes conducting regular reviews and maintaining accurate documentation of all compliance-related activities.

Corporate Governance Support

The successful candidate will provide support to the organization's corporate governance framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and industry standards. This includes evaluating and implementing effective governance structures and policies.

Internal Controls and Process Audits

The Compliance Specialist will review and assess internal processes to identify control gaps and recommend improvements to support the implementation of robust internal controls. This includes conducting audits and providing recommendations for process enhancements.

Compliance Training and Awareness

The ideal candidate will develop and conduct regular training sessions on AML/KYC norms, cybersecurity, and operational risk management to ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a compliant work environment.

Regulatory Filings and Documentation

The Compliance Specialist will assist in preparing and submitting timely, accurate documentation for statutory filings, such as shareholding changes and periodic returns.

Risk-Based Recommendations

The successful candidate will conduct gap analyses to identify areas of non-compliance and provide tailored, risk-based recommendations to mitigate these risks.

Vendor Due Diligence

The Compliance Specialist will perform compliance and risk assessments on third-party vendors to ensure appropriate controls are in place.
