Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

This role involves leading a team of Relationship Managers in Wealth and Investment Products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mutual fund sales to High Net Worth (HNW) clients and be responsible for mentoring their team to achieve sales targets, upsell products, and ensure a high level of client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and mentor a team of Relationship Managers to achieve assigned targets by upselling Asset Management Company (AMC) products.
  • Upsell products to Retail/HNW clients from an assigned database and generate fresh leads through referrals.
  • Conduct regular feedback and review sessions to improve business volume and new client acquisition.
  • Coach and lead the sales team to achieve their targets.
  • Develop long-term relationships with key and potential investors to generate repetitive business.
  • Assist in closing sales calls by working closely with Relationship Managers when required.
  • Ensure the team delivers the highest level of service to HNW customers.
  • Create awareness by conceptualizing events, conferences, and product sessions for investors.
  • Enhance and upgrade the client net worth and achieve sales and revenue targets across a diverse product mix through the team.
  • Ensure timely flow of information internally and externally, and monitor the team's external communication regularly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in mutual fund sales and managing HNW clients.
  • Strong team management, mentoring, and leadership skills.
  • The ability to effectively close sales calls and support a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building long-term client relationships.
