Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial modeling support to clients in the real estate industry. This includes developing and auditing financial models for various asset classes, creating Argus valuation models, and conducting valuations using income capitalization, sales comparison, and cost approaches.

You will also model REIT income statements and balance sheets, understand revolver, interest expense & circularity, and future development, FFO & CAD. Additionally, you will prepare pitch books, information memorandums, industry studies, company profiles, and discussion documents for various industries.

Furthermore, you will screen potential targets and buyers using databases like Greenstreet, RCA, Argus, Costar, Capital IQ, PitchBook, Mergermarket, FactSet, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Post-Graduation in Finance or equivalent qualification (CFA, MBA (Finance), CA, or equiv.).
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Investment banking or commercial real estate valuation.
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills for economic performance/analysis of companies and industries.
  • Ability to work independently, possessing management/leadership skills to run research on a day-to-day basis.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience in client handling.
  • Working knowledge of databases like Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson Research, FactSet, etc.
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
