Job Summary:

The Technical Manager will oversee the technical aspects of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all technical requirements of UAV projects
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to meet technical requirements and deliverables
  • Oversee the design, development, testing, and integration of UAV systems
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules and resource allocation
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical teams and stakeholders
  • Manage risk assessment and mitigation efforts, ensuring safety standards are followed

Requirements:

  • A degree in Engineering / Aerospace Engineering or a related field
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) and defence regulatory frameworks

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with project management software tools and methodologies
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • MasteRs degree in a related field
