Cost Accountant Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the position of Cost Accountant and help develop effective costing systems, project margin tracking, and financial reporting frameworks across diverse verticals.

This foundational finance role supports leadership in pricing, profitability analysis, and ERP readiness. The ideal candidate will possess a strong grasp of cost accounting principles, experience in project-based or rental-driven businesses, and advanced Excel and cost reporting skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining job-wise and vertical-wise cost sheets, tracking material, labor, transport, and overheads per project, and allocating shared costs across business verticals.

In addition, the Cost Accountant will develop standard cost templates, monitor budget vs. actual, and coordinate with operations and logistics to validate cost data.

They will also support ERP implementation for costing modules, prepare monthly cost reports for leadership, and provide clear, actionable insights for decision-making.

  • Create and maintain job-wise and vertical-wise cost sheets

Preferred qualifications include CMA (Cost & Management Accountant), 3–6 years in cost accounting, preferably in infra, construction, or rentals, and ERP exposure (Tally Prime).
