Job Title: Geography Collections Manager

The Geography Collections Manager is responsible for overseeing the collections process within their designated geography. This includes monitoring portfolio irregularities, managing receivables, and working closely with the Circle Head, Centre Heads, and RMs to ensure effective collections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the CBG Collections Team within the geography to achieve optimal results.
  • Develop and implement collection strategies, including setting up monitoring mechanisms and review processes.
  • Contain irregularity levels in various buckets, such as 8-30 DPD, 31-60 DPD, 61-90 DPD, and 90+.
  • Minimize incremental NPAs (NPA additions) in the portfolio.
  • Trigger legal action on chronic accounts in accordance with company policy.
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve recoveries and upgrades.
  • Provide feedback to Coverage/Product/Risk teams as necessary.
  • Monitor accounts with irregularities due to No Credit, Non-Renewal, or Non-submission of stock statements.
  • Gather market intelligence by building relationships with collections teams across organizations.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate/Post Graduate from a recognized institute.
  • Experience in managing Corporate collections or collections of secured products (Retail or Consumer Lending).
Role Proficiencies:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Process-oriented approach.
  • Understanding of legal acts and principles.
