Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to provide comprehensive production support for tax management systems and their integration with ERP platforms. This role requires both taxation expertise and technical troubleshooting capabilities to ensure accurate tax calculations and seamless system operations across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Apply knowledge of Indirect Taxation including Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST, and Withholding Tax across different jurisdictions
  • Manage and troubleshoot Tax Configuration, Tax Categories, and Exemption Certificates within the system
  • Support ERP integrations with the tax platform (e.g., Oracle Fusion and internal systems)

Responsibilities:

Functional Support
  • Evaluate and resolve issues related to tax rates, exemptions, and tax determinations
  • Oversee Tax Configuration, Tax Categories, and Exemption Certificates within the system
  • Support Tax Reporting and Compliance, including generating reports for tax filing and audit purposes
Technical Operations
  • Perform data analysis by querying databases for tax calculations, transaction history, and reconciliation
  • Troubleshoot integration issues including debugging tax calculation problems, missing tax rates, and incorrect invoice tax postings
Compliance & Reporting
  • Support Tax Reporting for Compliance (Sales & Use Tax, VAT/GST Returns, Withholding Tax Reports, 1099/1042 forms, etc.)
  • Reconcile tax liabilities in the system vs. ERP tax subledger vs. GL postings
