Senior Organic Farm Production Manager Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Organic Farm Production Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing farm extension services, sustaining, and expanding the area under organic contract farming. This will include procuring agricultural commodities as per plan and parameters (quality and pricing).

The key focus areas for this role are:

  • Ensuring farmer advisory services are carried out through contract farming and engagement programs with growers/farmers to promote practices in organic agriculture.
  • Responsible for sourcing agriculture commodities as per plan and parameters (quality and pricing).
  • Expanding area under organic cultivation as per targets.
  • Working with the team to develop and ensure execution of state-wise business plans to meet KRAs viz., targeted area, volume, buying efficiency, and documentation compliance.
  • Reviewing the team's performance on key indicators and taking steps to meet the organization's goals and objectives.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of organic agriculture practices and be able to effectively communicate with farmers and other stakeholders. You should also have excellent organizational and time management skills.

Key Requirements:

  • BSc Agri degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Telugu language.
