Job Title: Plantation Operations Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plantation Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of farm operations.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in managing farm operations, including land validation, planning and organizing, resource management, quality control, yield optimization, labor management, sustainability, compliance, communication, and leadership.

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Prepare Land specific Package of Practices for Energy Crop Farming, develop and implement planting, cultivation, and harvesting plans, oversee the efficient use of resources, including land, labor, machinery, and finances.
  • Sustainability and Compliance: Implement and maintain sustainable agricultural practices, ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Communication and Leadership: Train, motivate and lead a team of employees, foster a positive and productive work environment, communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Benefits:

The successful candidate will be responsible for digital integration, monitoring, reporting of all plantation sites, land preparation, planting and cultivation, harvesting and post-harvest handling, equipment maintenance, and record keeping.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Agriculture graduate students are eligible to apply for this field-based role that involves working closely with labors. Candidates should be willing to get their hands dirty, as this hands-on experience will contribute significantly to their personal and professional growth.
