Job Title: Chief Design Strategist

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to craft and refine design concepts, including complex designs.

• Develop detailed drawings, reports, and specifications for architectural designs, ensuring accuracy and coherence throughout all stages of the project.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Structural, Mechanical, Water & Environment, to integrate design requirements and deliver high-quality results.

• Partner with stakeholders to apply value engineering principles to optimize design solutions for complex projects.

• Work closely with Project Managers to review and validate design deliverables, capturing feedback and obtaining necessary approvals.

• Support the Quantity Surveying Department in developing tender documents, including specifications, Bills of Quantities, and Conditions of Contract, to ensure smooth procurement processes.

• Assist project teams in reviewing and validating medium complexity project design deliverables, conducting thorough checks, and issuing comprehensive reports as needed.

• Collaborate with Project Managers to develop, review, and update work programs, man-hour estimates, and manage changes in project scope, schedule, or budget.

• Help Project Managers in managing project budgets, resource allocation, and schedules to meet project objectives.

• Support Project Managers in mitigating contractual risks and ensuring timely project completion.

• Assist Project Managers in managing external suppliers and subcontracts to guarantee alignment with project goals and expectations.

• Assist Project Managers in monitoring and controlling project budgets and schedules to meet project milestones.

• Provide support to Project Managers in preparing periodic progress reports to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.

• Collaborate with Project Managers on implementing quality control policies and procedures, promoting excellence in design deliverables and team performance.

• Offer support during the supervision stage, responding to RFIs and resolving design conflicts in coordination with local design support teams, if required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture

  • Master's Degree in Architecture or a related field (preferred)
  • •
  • 10+ years of experience in architectural design functions
  • •
  • Strong experience in developing architectural designs for large and complex projects
  • •
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in architectural design
  • •
  • Understanding of international engineering standards and codes
  • •
  • Exposure to global best practices and trends in architectural design
  • •
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • •
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and attention to detail
