Territory Business Development Manager Position Summary:

Smith+Nephew is currently recruiting a Territory Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to drive sales growth in their assigned territory.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in the assigned territory.
  • BUILDS RELATIONSHIP WITH KEY DECISION MAKERS: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the surgical sector/orthopedics industry.
  • DRIVES BUSINESS GROWTH: Promotes wound care products to surgeons and nurses, ensures alignment with company guidelines.
  • MANGES DISTRIBUTION NETWORK: Manages distribution networks and ensures timely deliveries to customers.
  • PLACES ORDERS: Places orders from retailers and collects payments from stockists according to company standards.
  • PERFORMS REPORTING ACTIVITIES: Provides regular reports to State Managers, adheres to reporting requirements and maintains up-to-date customer databases.
  • TRAVELS WIDELY: Covers extensive out-of-town travel.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum educational requirement is a graduate degree, combined with 2-7 years of experience in the relevant industry.
  • Has proficient knowledge and experience in the Surgical Sector / Orthopedic Industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with being self-driven and having a result-oriented approach.
