Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Senior Sales Officer to join our team in Bangalore. Our client, a leading Indian Paint industry company, has been a market leader for almost 98 years.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and achieving sales targets in the assigned territory. This includes mapping and maintaining a database of key clients, tracking business opportunities, and establishing relationships with influencers and government officials.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in project sales or B2B sales, with a strong background in road marking and industrial coating products. They will also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and achieve sales targets in the assigned territory
  • Map and maintain a database of key clients, including road construction companies, government bodies, contractors, and dealers
  • Track business opportunities and establish relationships with influencers and government officials
  • Prepare forecasts of future sales and provide necessary credentials and testimonials
  • Provide functional expertise and mentorship to the internal sales team
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in project sales or B2B sales
  • A strong background in road marking and industrial coating products
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering or Science.

The estimated salary for this role is ₹8-12 lakhs per annum, depending on experience.
