About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting a compensation management tool and its dependent systems.
- Provide detailed analysis of system defects/bugs and suggest potential solutions along with change and risk assessments.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize calculations, reports, and other tools within the application.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights as directed.
- Assist with data load processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for logic flows, user interfaces, data stores, workflows, etc.
- Document key decisions made, dependencies, potential issues, and critical tasks related to assigned projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application performance issues.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data as needed.
About You
Youre a fit for this role if your background includes:
- 6+ years of experience with compensation management tools with 4+ years of experience with sales compensation software/application.
- Experience building and maintaining configuration tables based on changing business needs.
- Extensive experience building and maintaining calculations within a compensation model.
- Experience with data mapping, workflow construction, report design and build, and ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes for data integration tasks.
- Database query design, data handling and data integration skills (SQL, Excel)
- Programming Language proficiency (JavaScript, Python, Groovy)
- Use industry experience to identify optimal solutions for system improvements.
- Configure products based on customer requirements.
- Consult customers on proven approaches to satisfy their requests.
- Excellent analytical and logical thinking ability to deliver optimal solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills to provide updates for stakeholders.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple objectives with competing demands for resources.
- Ability to adapt to change and attention to detail.
