Reliability Engineer Role Overview

Our Platform Engineering team is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of our systems. As a critical member, you will make data-driven decisions, drive innovation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

We strive for operational excellence, focusing on availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency challenges within our infrastructure. Our goal is to build and operate large-scale systems that empower millions of people worldwide.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement systems software that improves system stability, scalability, availability, and latency.
  • Take ownership of one or more services, having the freedom to make decisions best for the business and customers.
  • Solve problems occurring with production systems, building solutions and automation to prevent them from happening again.
  • Build effective monitoring to monitor system health and handle outages.
  • Plan for reliability by designing systems to work across multinational data centers.
Requirements:
  • Solid experience in at least one programming language, golang is a plus.
  • Experience with building, operating, and maintaining scalable distributed systems and operations automation.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing fundamentals.
  • Solid foundation in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of Service level agreements and objectives.
