Senior Power Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of power systems that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with expertise in power system analysis and design. You will work closely with our team of engineers and technicians to develop innovative solutions to complex problems, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our power systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the design and development of power systems, including transmission and distribution projects
  • Conducting feasibility studies, master plans, and dispatch studies to ensure the optimal operation of our power systems
  • Preparing renewable generation connection schemes from distribution to utility scale generation
  • Performing load flow study, fault level calculations, harmonic analysis, voltage stability, and transient stability analysis on transmission, distribution, and industrial power systems
  • Reviewing power system studies technical submissions by contractors/developers in reference to clients' electricity transmission codes and international standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in power system analysis and design
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
