Engineering Manager Position

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering and design matters on projects and providing support to the Project Manager. Your primary role will be to lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering technical results while ensuring project objectives are met within time frames and budgets.

Responsibilities:
  • Scope Definition & Change Management: Develop scope of work and implement effective change management systems.
  • Project Progress Reporting: Contribute to monthly progress reports with respect to design progress, issues, and recommended changes.
  • Project Execution Planning: Participate in developing project execution plans with the leadership team and allocate roles and responsibilities.
  • Client Communication: Maintain contact with clients at key milestones to ensure deliverables meet client requirements.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate or graduate degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Registration as a professional engineer (preferable).
  • Typically 12-15 years of experience in multi-disciplinary environments on major projects.
  • 3 years of experience managing design engineering teams on major projects.

  • Project Execution & Planning: Strong expertise in project scope definition, planning, and scheduling engineering activities.
