IT Infrastructure Team Lead

About the Role:

The IT Infrastructure team is responsible for positioning IT as an enabler of customer projects through high-quality input. One of the most critical tasks is to support the Elektrobit SW development team with stable and high-performance infrastructure as well as state-of-the-art methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be accountable for the professional and disciplined management of an international team of 12 employees, focusing on collaboration, efficiency, and goal achievement.
  • You will control and monitor internal and external projects together with your team, ensuring high quality, meeting time and cost budgets, and aligning with business objectives.
  • You are responsible for driving the further development and optimization of the IT landscape, implementing strategic initiatives, and promoting innovation.
  • You will lead the standardization of the worldwide distributed locations, fostering consistency and best practices across all sites.
  • You will drive the global orientation of IT, aligning strategies, and coordinating international teams to achieve common goals.

Requirements:

  • You have a degree in computer science or a comparable field.
  • You possess strong communication skills, assertiveness, and emotional intelligence.
  • You demonstrate a high degree of initiative, creative problem-solving, and a proactive approach to work.
  • You exhibit a cooperative, goal-oriented, and strategic way of working, emphasizing collaboration and teamwork.
  • You show sovereignty in dealing with internal and external customers, maintaining effective relationships, and providing excellent service.
  • You have at least 10 years of proven experience in the IT infrastructure sector, with a track record of delivering results, managing projects, and leading international teams.
  • You have more than 5 years of experience in leading international teams, with a focus on developing and motivating staff, improving processes, and driving business growth.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of IT architecture, virtualization, current network technologies, server systems with Windows and Linux Container solutions in the CI/CD environment, and ITIL.
  • You have very good knowledge of security standards, including current best practices and compliance requirements.
  • You have several years of management experience with international teams, with a focus on leadership, coaching, and talent development.
  • You are fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
