Job Overview

The Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for managing the logistics operations of a dynamic company. This role involves overseeing the entire order journey, from creation to delivery, and ensuring timely and accurate pick-ups from warehouses and deliveries to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Track end-to-end order journeys for B2C and B2B orders
  2. Record, track & review warehouse & delivery partners' performance against SLAs and suggest areas for improvement
  3. Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure on-time and accurate pick-ups from warehouses and deliveries to customers
  4. Provide regular updates to customers on order status
  5. Take ownership of B2B customer documentation
  6. Share regular projections with warehouse & delivery partner teams for better planning and execution
  7. Anticipate and address risks proactively to minimize negative impact
Discrepancy and Returns Management
  1. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in orders, such as quantity or quality issues
  2. Handle return requests promptly and in accordance with company policies
  3. Implement preventive actions to minimize future discrepancies and returns
  4. Track B2C order RTOs & B2B order RTVs to identify trends and solutions to control returns
Maintaining Performance Reports & Dashboards
  1. Fulfillment rate performance analysis
  2. Warehouse availability and inventory management
  3. Order to delivery turn-around time (TAT)
  4. Cost performance evaluation
  5. Discrepancy report generation
  6. Inventory accuracy and process adherence evaluation
Warehouse SOP Deployment
  1. Ensure diligent implementation of company SOPs across the warehouse
  2. Guide warehouse & delivery partner staff on queries, concerns, and special circumstances
  3. Conduct periodic and regular inventory audits and cycle counts
  4. Review and improve SOPs based on regular process feedback
New Logistics Partners Identification & Onboarding
  1. Identify new logistics partners based on market feedback and proven performance
  2. Deploy, track, and build an optimal logistics network for delivery performance
Experience & Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 2-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Basic understanding of warehousing and logistics operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer literacy with MS Excel knowledge
