Job Responsibilities:-

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement secondary logistics strategies aligned with the

company's overall objectives.

  • Optimize delivery routes and logistics networks for cost and time

efficiency.


• Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the secondary

distribution system.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (KPI) such as OTIF (On-

Time In-Full) delivery rates.


• Vendor and Partner Management:

  • Negotiate contracts with logistics partners, transporters, and service

providers.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics vendors to ensure

quality and reliability.


• Cost Control:

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities in logistics operations while

maintaining service quality.

  • Monitor budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets.


• Technology and Process Improvement:

  • Leverage technology to enhance logistics operations, such as GPS

tracking, TMS (Transport Management Systems), and data analytics.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and

reduce inefficiencies.


• Team Leadership:

  • Manage, mentor, and develop the logistics team to ensure high

performance and engagement.

  • Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and accountability within the

team.


• Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company

policies related to logistics.

  • Implement and monitor safety standards in logistics operations.
