The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of forest ecology and the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing reforestation plans
  • Conducting site assessments for forest reclamation and rehabilitation work
  • Managing inventory and work resources
  • Cultivating young trees through seed harvesting and nursery operations
  • Reviewing research and literature to stay current on best practices

In addition to your technical expertise, you must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. This may involve presenting project updates, participating in team meetings, or providing guidance to junior staff members.
