Strategic Placement Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our placement initiatives. This role requires a strong network, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Placement Strategy: Develop and implement placement strategies that align with industry trends and market expectations.
  • Corporate Relations: Foster relationships with top-tier companies, startups, and public sector enterprises for placements, internships, and live projects. Organize industry conclaves, guest lectures, and other corporate interactions to increase engagement.
  • Placement Operations: Oversee the entire placement process, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for both recruiters and students.
  • Student Readiness: Collaborate with faculty and training partners to equip students with industry-relevant skills. Mentor students on career choices, profile building, and industry expectations.
  • Alumni Engagement: Leverage the alumni network for placement support, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track placement metrics, prepare detailed reports, and present insights to leadership and stakeholders.

Performance Targets: Achieve the placement of 360 students for final placements and 360 students for summer internships. Enhance the median salary of the placed batch compared to the previous year.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Postgraduate degree (preferably an MBA or equivalent) from a reputable institution.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate relations, placements, business development, or HR, ideally within a reputable academic institution or corporate setting.
  • Strong network across various industries (FMCG, BFSI, IT/ITES, Consulting, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a result-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams.
