Engineering Placement Lead

We are seeking a proactive, well-connected and student-focused placement lead to drive campus recruitment initiatives, foster strong corporate relationships and prepare students for successful careers.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with recruiters, corporates and industry associations, identifying and inviting companies for campus placement drives across management, engineering and other programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Corporate Engagement & Placement Strategies
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to attract top corporate partners.
    • Negotiate recruitment terms and ensure high placement conversion rates.
  • Student Skill Enhancement
    • Organize pre-placement training programs including aptitude, group discussion, technical skills and interview preparation.
    • Collaborate with faculty and industry experts to bridge skill gaps.
    • Track and mentor students' progress towards placement readiness.
  • Placement Operations & Logistics
    • Plan and execute annual placement calendars.
    • Coordinate logistics for placement drives, interviews and tests.
    • Maintain accurate placement records, statistics and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Industry Networking & Partnerships
    • Organize industry visits, guest lectures and career counseling sessions.
    • Explore internship, live project and corporate training opportunities for students.
    • Represent the institution at job fairs, industry meets and HR summits.
  • Reporting & Compliance
    • Prepare detailed reports for management on placement status, recruiter feedback and student performance.
    • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and data confidentiality.
