As a seasoned HR professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling our HR capabilities in a fast-growing region. Reporting to Group People & Culture, you will partner closely with local leadership teams and Group People & Culture to localize and implement key initiatives, build fit-for-purpose processes, and support future growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the People & Culture agenda for India, UAE, and Mauritius, ensuring alignment with business priorities and Group strategy.
  • Strengthening and streamlining core HR practices such as hiring, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and offboarding.
  • Developing scalable HR infrastructure in each market to ensure consistency, compliance, and readiness for growth.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders on talent planning, employee relations, performance issues, and workforce initiatives.
  • Partnering with Group People & Culture to deliver group-wide programs in areas such as performance management, leadership development, DE&I, and internal mobility.
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment, including senior-level hiring and oversight of external vendors, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Carpooling and supporting local HR/administrative resources to strengthen on-the-ground delivery and capability.
  • Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and Group HR governance standards, working closely with finance and legal partners.
  • Supporting integration activities related to acquisitions, including harmonization of HR practices and employee onboarding.
  • Promoting a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement by leveraging employee feedback and workforce insights.

Requirements include:

  • A minimum of 10 years of broad-based HR experience, ideally with multi-country or regional exposure.
  • A strong generalist background with experience in HR operations, performance management, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work hands-on while also influencing at a strategic level.
  • Experience strengthening or evolving HR processes in high-growth or dynamic environments.
  • A strong working knowledge of Indian employment law; familiarity with UAE and Mauritius regulations is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A self-starter with a strong ownership mindset, resilience, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in supporting change management or post-merger integration is an advantage.
