Reinsurance Manager Position Overview

The Reinsurance Manager plays a pivotal role in crafting and implementing the company's reinsurance strategy, ensuring seamless alignment with risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development, placement, and renewal of all Proportional and Non-Proportional Treaty Reinsurance Programs.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance, and actuarial teams to drive informed treaty decisions based on data analysis.
  • Manage relationships with reinsurers and brokers across domestic and international markets, fostering strong partnerships and optimizing business opportunities.
  • Mentor and collaborate with Data Analytics resources to enhance treaty strategy and drive business growth.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Strong grasp of reinsurance principles and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in complex decision-making contexts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
