Full Stack E-commerce Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack E-commerce Developer to lead our e-commerce development efforts and create scalable solutions for our online stores.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create dynamic and engaging e-commerce experiences using Shopify's framework and Liquid templating engine.
  • Customize Shopify themes and templates to align with brand requirements, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and plugins to extend Shopify functionality and enhance store performance.
  • Work on Content Management Systems (CMS) platforms, such as Shopify CMS and others, to ensure dynamic and scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and product teams to bring creative concepts to life and drive business growth.
  • Implement best practices for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), performance optimization, and responsive design to improve store visibility and conversion rates.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring a smooth customer experience.
  • Mentor junior developers and guide the team with technical expertise, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4–6 years of professional experience in e-commerce development, with a focus on Shopify and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify APIs, app integration, and custom functionality, with experience working with CMS platforms and headless commerce.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git/GitHub, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Shopify, e-commerce development principles, and software engineering best practices. They will be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate complex ideas clearly, and provide expert guidance to junior developers.
