Job Title:

Service Sales and Technical Specialist

Gain a challenging role as a Service Sales and Technical Specialist where you will be responsible for simulating the benefits of our upgrade portfolio and verifying the structural integrity of installed wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Re-assess existing/planned wind farms to confirm compatibility of certain upgrades and turbine-specific structural integrity
  • Conduct site-specific wind conditions assessments, apply mechanical load mitigation strategies, and run benefit calculations
  • S support upgrades sales by driving validation campaigns and initiating implementation of upgrades
  • Collaborate with global service regions and after-sales colleagues to convince customers and stakeholders
  • Promote business performance through measurable impact on the global Service business unit
  • BUILD A LARGE NETWORK WITHIN THE COMPANY AND INDUSTRY TO STAY UP-TO-DATE ON NEW TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENTS
  • Represent the team in strategic discussions and development decision meetings

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completed university studies in Engineering or Business/Economics with strong technical background
  • 5-10 years of experience in wind & site assessments, mechanical loads department, or equal technical service organisations in the wind energy industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven, focused, and pragmatic with ability to bring topics to success in complex environments
  • Optional: Know-how in wind turbine technology (site assessment, wind turbine control, load calculation, aerodynamics, etc.)
  • Optional: WindPRO and Python experience
  • Fluent in English, German an advantage
