
Senior HR Compliance Specialist

This position involves end-to-end execution, documentation, governance, vendor coordination, audits, and proactive process improvement across HR compliance activities at the entity and group levels.
The role requires ensuring timely compliance with all applicable labour laws: EPF, ESIC, PT, LWF, CLRA, S&E Acts, ID Act, Gratuity Act, etc.
It also entails overseeing state-wise compliance requirements and filings across locations, conducting onboarding checks for statutory forms and declarations (Form 2, ESIC, PF nomination, UAN verification), addressing and resolving employee PF-related queries in coordination with vendors and regional offices.
Maintaining awareness of new and changing regulatory mandates affecting HR operations and workforce governance is crucial.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely compliance with all applicable labour laws
- Oversee state-wise compliance requirements and filings across locations
- Conduct onboarding checks for statutory forms and declarations
- Address and resolve employee PF-related queries
- Ensure real-time tracking and closure of compliance deliverables
- Interpret and implement HR compliance guidelines issued by sector regulators
- Maintain awareness of new and changing regulatory mandates affecting HR operations and workforce governance
- Ensure documentation and records are maintained as per the requirements of sector regulators
Requirements:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources, Labour Law, or related field
- Additional certification in labour law or statutory compliance is preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in HR compliance, preferably in a regulated industry (financial services, fintech, or insurance)
- Hands-on experience managing compliance audits, inspections, and liaising with regulatory authorities
- Strong knowledge of central and state labour laws and statutory regulations
- Familiarity with sector-specific compliance
- Ability to manage multi-state compliance complexity
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and audit readiness
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in using compliance tracking tools, HRMS and MS Office
