Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to oversee the management and support of cloud environments, operating systems, directory services, and enterprise infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring global standards, security, and operational excellence across all aspects of our cloud infrastructure.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Windows and Linux operating systems, including LVM management and server health monitoring.
  • Manage user authorization and access controls, deploy, manage, and maintain Linux/Windows instances in AWS/Azure, and handle cloud storage solutions.
  • Configure and manage EC2 firewall settings, automate deployments with AMIs and CloudFormation templates, and migrate AWS instances across different VPCs.
  • Set up and maintain AWS services, implement and manage IAM roles, users, and access policies, and execute server patching, decommissioning, file system, and network configurations.

Key qualifications include strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, proficiency in Windows and Linux OS administration, hands-on experience with AWS/Azure cloud platforms, familiarity with VMware or other virtualization technologies, and a strong knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
