Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting complex cloud-based solutions involving analysis, design, development, and testing of various application components within the Asset Management domain.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing/Supporting complex efforts involving analysis, design, development, and testing of various application components within Asset Management domain.
  • Hands-on architect capable of debugging the system and fixing production-related issues.
  • Strong ability to analyze functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions.
  • Implements solutions aligned with business/IT strategies and complies with architectural standards.
  • Provide strong technical leadership to the team of engineers.
  • Mentor and career development of team members.
  • Ensure highest standards and quality of technical deliverables.
  • Design development and implementation of overall architecture and define blueprint for technical architecture to support mission needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies; provide mentoring and training to team of engineers.
  • Handle complex operational tasks and recommend processing and technology changes.
  • Investigate, analyze, and document reported defects.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates that meet SDLC standards.
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership, preferably having a strong financial knowledge in building complex trading applications.
  • Expertise in AWS services such as Amazon Elastic Compute (EC2), Glue, Amazon S3, EKS, Lambda, etc.
  • Experience in developing applications using Python, Glue (ETL), Lambda, step functions, etc. services in AWS.
  • Understanding of Terraform scripts and CI/CD process.
  • Desirable to have worked on tools like Eventbridge, ARRFlow, Airflow, MWAA, Quicksight.

  • Multi-tasking and prioritization.
