Job Opportunity: Financial Management Professional

Overview:

A key role for a detail-oriented and experienced professional in financial management has become available.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and ledger entries.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and management information system (MIS) reports.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST), tax deducted at source (TDS), income tax return (ITR), and other statutory requirements.
  • Manage inventory accounting and cost analysis.
  • Support audits with proper documentation.
  • Generate reports as needed by management.
  • Process entries such as contra, journal, receipt, and payment.
  • Work with teams to optimize costs and improve processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably under a certified accountant (CA) or in a CA firm.
  • Proficiency in Tally software, knowledge of Zoho or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools is an asset.
  • Good understanding of AP/AR, GST, MIS reporting, and compliances.
  • Experience with inventory accounting is preferred, especially in the food and beverage domain.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools.
