Job Role: Financial Recovery Specialist

Location: Remote possible

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to take on the role of Financial Recovery Specialist. The ideal candidate should have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar financial role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficiency in Excel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collections to facilitate our collection process and contact clients for the collection of outstanding payments.
  • Drive collection activities and achieve targets while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Follow up with customers on-call/emails for overdue amounts to minimize debts and maintain loss experience to a minimum.
  • Manage a database of all transactions with respect to payment collection account receivables.
  • Assist in improving collection strategies to drive continuous improvement in the collections process.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Monitor and extend assistance to the recovery team for the resolution of cases by way of recovery.
  • Verify clients and customers who appear to be potential defaulters.

About the Role: In this position, you will play a key role in facilitating our collection process and driving revenue growth through effective management of client relationships and timely follow-up on overdue payments.
