Procurement Coordinator Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage end-to-end import procurement operations and contribute to the company's global growth strategy.

Responsibilities:

Timely float of enquiries for procurement of import items as per production plan and receiving indents

Offer collection, preparation of Commercial Invoice, and creation of Purchase Orders, Contracts, and Service Work Orders in SAP

Release of vendor payments as per PO terms and follow-up for delivery with shippers for pending orders

Coordination with plant users, account departments, store departments, suppliers, freight forwarders, and Customs House Agents for day-to-day operations to ensure on-time delivery according to schedules

Preparation and daily update of Management Information Systems (MIS), including stock reports, transit stocks, pending orders, advances, EPCG reports, EPR reports, EU reports, and others as required

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) with 4-6 years of experience; Graduate/Postgraduate with 8-10 years of experience

Strong command of Microsoft Office and SAP Material Management (MM)

Knowledge and experience in Import Procurement, including Purchase Orders (PR to PO) and payment processes using SAP MM module

Knowledge and experience in Customs Clearance and International Freight Forwarding

Knowledge of Inventory Control

Knowledge of Movement Type, Transfer Order, MIGO, MIRO, and other relevant SAP modules

Purchase experience in engineering and industrial DI pipe consumable imports and domestic items

Technical Requirements:

Knowledge and understanding of inventory management systems and procedures

Ability to analyze data and create reports for stakeholders

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
