Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Land Acquisition Specialist to spearhead our land sourcing and acquisition strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to identify and secure prime land parcels in targeted micro-markets, evaluate feasibility, engage with brokers and landowners, and facilitate the entire acquisition and closing process.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identify and Evaluate Land Parcels: Identify and evaluate land parcels in pre-defined target micro-markets, considering factors such as zoning, FSI potential, ready reckoner rates, and development control regulations.
  • Build and Maintain Networks: Build and maintain a strong network of brokers, landowners, developers, and other intermediaries to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the acquisition process.
  • Track Market Opportunities: Actively track market opportunities and upcoming transactions to stay ahead of competitors and capitalize on emerging trends.
  • Conduct Due Diligence: Conduct initial due diligence, including land title, zoning, FSI potential, ready reckoner rates, and development control regulations, to ensure the land parcel aligns with our product design and business model.
  • Prepare Feasibility Studies: Coordinate with internal analysts to prepare feasibility studies, financial models, and market assessments to support informed decision-making.
  • Evaluate Alignment: Assess alignment of land parcels with our product design and business model, ensuring strategic fit and optimal return on investment.
  • Facilitate Meetings: Organize and facilitate meetings between key stakeholders, including legal, finance, and management teams, to ensure smooth execution of deals.
  • Closing Transactions: Work with legal counsel, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and closure of acquisition transactions.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Architecture, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or investment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of local regulations and land acquisition processes, proven track record of successfully sourcing and closing land transactions, established network with brokers, landowners, and developers in the region.
