Land Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a skilled land acquisition specialist to identify and secure suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for scouting, negotiating, documenting, registering, and handing over acquired land parcels.
  • A key aspect of this role is building and maintaining relationships with local landowners, agents, revenue officials, district-level authorities, and government departments.
  • Our ideal candidate will conduct thorough title due diligence and ensure the legal sanctity of acquired land through effective coordination with our legal teams.
  • Oversight of Right of Way (RoW) acquisition, mutation, land conversion, and compliance with state-specific renewable energy policies is also essential.
  • To excel in this position, you must ensure clear documentation, including agreements to sale, lease deeds, power of attorney, and land maps.
  • You will monitor local land price trends, zoning regulations, and state incentives to secure cost-effective deals.
  • Supervising a field team of land officers, surveyors, and external consultants is another critical responsibility.
  • Conflict resolution and addressing any legal or community-related land acquisition issues are crucial aspects of this role.
