We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Raw Materials Sourcing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for the acquisition of essential raw materials for production processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with a focus on raw materials. You will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining quality and timely delivery of raw materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement plans to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials.">
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms and conditions.">
  • Cost Management: Manage the procurement budget for raw materials and ensure compliance with financial targets. Implement cost-saving initiatives and continuously seek opportunities to reduce procurement costs.">
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all raw materials procured meet the required quality standards and specifications.">
  • Inventory Management: Work closely with the Inventory Management team to ensure optimal stock levels of raw materials.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field. Professional certification preferred.">
  • Minimum 5 years experience in procurement, with a focus on raw materials.">
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and strategies.">
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.">
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and build strong partnerships.">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.">
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools. SAP knowledge must.">
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.">

Additional Skills:

  • Pesticide industry experience preferred.">
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements related to raw materials procurement.">
