About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our business, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing exceptional support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation
    • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping
    • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
    • Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy of bank and credit card statements.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to facilitate decision-making.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks, developing strategies to minimize exposure.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero, with knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong time management and prioritization skills.
