Procurement Specialist Role

The Procurement Centre of Excellence (COE) is seeking a skilled Sourcing Professional to provide sourcing value for the Canadian business, Corporate, and IT spend categories.

This role will focus on identifying and managing relationships with key internal stakeholders, executing the sourcing process, and supporting clients on related governance requirements for their deals.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have 3+ years of relevant sourcing/procurement experience, proven expertise leading sourcing initiatives, processes, and developing strategies, as well as excellent client relationship management skills.

You will also be required to work comfortably with ambiguity and uncertainty, have familiarity with vendor contract language, SAP Ariba Contracts and Sourcing Modules, and understanding of general procurement challenges and solutions.

In addition, you will need to lead negotiations to conclusion, work effectively with internal legal counsel and other stakeholders, and demonstrate a drive for results and sense of urgency.
