Job Title: Business Loan Collection Strategist

As a seasoned business loan collection strategist, you will develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive recovery targets. Your expertise in managing high-performing teams will foster a collaborative culture that drives results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business loan collection strategies to achieve target recoveries.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of business loan collection officers to drive high performance.
  • Oversee daily business loan collection activities, including portfolio management, call handling, and field visits.
  • Analyze business loan collection data and metrics to identify trends, forecast potential delinquencies, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex business loan collection cases.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to negotiate effective repayment plans.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve business loan collection processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with delinquent business loans.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and inspire a team to meet and exceed targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the business loan collection process, regulatory guidelines, and legal frameworks specific to the sector.
  • Proficient in using business loan collection management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in business loan collections, with a significant portion of that time in a managerial or leadership role within an NBFC.
