Actuarial Analyst Role

This is a supporting role for senior actuaries, focusing on various tasks and responsibilities.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and execute monthly/quarterly valuation reporting and analysis.
  • Support the specification and validation of new valuation methodologies, models, and product implementations.
  • Provide explanations of results for review by the Chief Actuary.
  • Conduct research to address auditor queries and assist in preparing timely responses.
  • Work with regional stakeholders to deliver Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual reporting for Reinsurance business.
  • Enhance and automate the reporting process through ongoing improvements and developments.
  • Implement changes and updates in processes and regulations as needed.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Error-free preparation of financial reports within required timescales and actuarial standards.
  • Execution of second-line data validation and completeness checks to meet actuarial and audit standards.
  • Contributing to team morale and engagement, and professional development.
  • Ensuring effective communication between teams in different geographical locations.
  • Taking ownership of work, flagging issues, and goal delivery concerns to senior leadership.
