Job Opportunity: Corporate Counsel

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to join our Legal Department. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with experienced lawyers to provide legal and regulatory solutions to our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and mitigate risk and compliance issues, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
  • Provide guidance on developing policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures for regulatory compliance.
  • Advise on data protection and privacy legislations, including incident management and record retention.
  • Support cyber security compliance and risk management, including advising on disclosure requirements and interacting with external vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with immigration laws in EU, APAC, and MEA, reviewing policy/guidance documents and requirements for business travel, work visas, and reporting/notification.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • LLB/LLM degree with relevant experience as compliance counsel, preferably in multinational corporations.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable regulations, including data privacy, cyber security, immigration, and mobility.
  • Strong project management skills, interacting effectively with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage/support review and audit exercises with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.
