Job Description for Public Affairs Specialist

Vedicon is a leading provider of Cyber Security, Forensic Investigation, and Data Centre Solutions. As a product development and system integrator company, our focus is on delivering turnkey projects in Cyber Security, Data Safety, Information Security & Forensic solutions to various government agencies in India.

We are seeking a skilled Public Affairs Specialist to develop and execute communication strategies to advance agency goals and public understanding.

This role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strategic thinking, and advocacy skills to drive organizational interests. The ideal candidate will have an MBA or Management in Public Affairs degree or related experience/certifications.

  • The Public Affairs Specialist will manage media relations, including press releases, responses to public and press inquiries, and monitoring media coverage.
  • Represent the organization at institutions, policy makers, civic, and community meetings.
  • Provide policy support by advising management on policy formulation, assessing public reactions, and articulating policy statements.
  • Create content for internal and external stakeholders, including newsletters, brochures, presentations, and social media materials.
  • Conduct research, analyze public opinion and regulatory trends, and prepare impact assessments and recommendations.
  • Coordinate outreach activities, educational initiatives, facility tours, public events, and emergency preparedness communications.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, able to analyze and present information effectively, and possess project management and event coordination skills.
